Sir Henry Montgomery Lawrence KCB was a British soldier and statesman in India, who died defending Lucknow during the Indian Mutiny.

Sir Henry Lawrence founded Lawrence Schools in Sanawar, Mt Abu and Lovedale to educate the orphans of the British soldiers who died in wars. Lawrence College Ghora Gali was a posthumous school set up in his memory.
